City of Belleville is inviting Proposals for Food Services (Court Yard Café) within the newly expanded Quinte Sports Centre and Wellness Centre.

The City requires innovative food service providers who have a goal of providing appealing, healthy food and beverage choices in a pleasant environment. The objective is to implement a food and beverage service in our facility which will provide nutritious food and beverage choices. The menu selection should be supportive of the overall healthy lifestyle promoted by the facility.

SITE TOUR

Interested Proponents may attend an ‘optional’ site tour of the available space in the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 1:00pm, local time.

City of Belleville is inviting Proposals for Pro Shop and Sports Equipment Services within the newly expanded Quinte Sports Centre and Wellness Centre. The City requires innovative service providers who have a goal of providing appealing services in a pleasant environment. The objective is to implement a Pro Shop and Sports Equipment Service in our facility which will provide our varied users with convenient services expected at such a multi-use complex – in other words, ‘not just hockey’.

SITE TOUR :  Interested Proponents may attend an ‘optional’ site tour of the available space in the Quinte

Sports and Wellness Centre on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., local time.  As this is an active construction site, we are asking all proponents to wear steel toe footwear and a construction hat to the ‘optional’ site tour.

Tender submissions, properly endorsed and sealed in the envelope provided for the purpose and clearly marked as to contents, will be received by the Finance Department, 1st Floor, City Hall, 169 Front Street, Belleville, Ontario

at 1:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, February 7, 2012

The Work is generally as follows: Part A:  Mobilization of necessary equipment and materials for subsurface ground improvements and temporary granular reinstatement in park areas adjacent to the Bay of Quinte, in coordination with a geotechnical engineer.  Quantities are as approximately specified in tender documents. Part A to be completed no later than March 26, 2012; Part B:  Reinstatement of trenching and ground surface treatments, including paving of South Front Street within the limits of construction.  Quantities are as approximately

specified in tender documents.  Part B to be completed no later than May 25, 2012.Tender documents may be obtained from the Finance Department (Purchasing Services) 1st Floor, City Hall, 169 Front Street, Belleville, Ontario, K8N 2Y8 upon payment of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $100.00 including H.S.T. in cash, by interac  direct payment or by cheque made payable to the Corporation of the City of Belleville.  Cash, bid bond or certified cheque, made payable to the Corporation of the City of Belleville in the amount stipulated in the tender document must accompany each bid.  The successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 50% Labour and Material Bond upon execution of the Contract Agreement.

The lowest or any tender or any part of any tender not necessarily accepted.
