The City Clerk's Section provides the following services:
- real property acquisitions/sales
- keeps originals of documents, e.g. by-laws, minutes, etc.
- receives writs, actions and claims served upon the Municipality
- conducts municipal elections
- division registrar for deaths
- issuer of marriage licences
- administers farmers' market
- administrative support to Council and its Committees, including agendas, minutes, communications, applications and requests; holds corporate seal and provides corporate signing authority with the Mayor
- organizes banner and flag flying
- administers act regarding livestock
- commissioner for oaths and affidavits
- Municipal Investigations
