Zwick's Pavilion Project

WHETHER YOU'RE A BUSINESS, GROUP or INDIVIDUAL

YOU CAN HELP MAKE THE

ZWICK'S PAVILION

A REALITY!

As of January 2009, the Zwick's Island Pavilion Committee gained the approval of Belleville's City Council to get this project started.

West Zwick's Island Pavilion Proposal

The New Pavilion is to be built in front of the existing band stand, with one end of the new building meeting up with the existing structure so that the ceiling of the new building will be the same height as the existing building. The opposite end will be just shy of the bottom of the hill. Standing on the hill watching the stage today should be the same as when the building is in place. Both buildings are on floating pads so they can not be joined, however there will be provision for weather. The existing structure will be modified to allow for wings coming out from both sides of the structure to increase weather cover.  Along with electrical upgrades, there will also be a small change room and storage area created.

This new structure should seat 600 to 800 people depending on the venue. Provisions will be allowed for possible weather protection such as roll up doors that can be rolled down to increase weather protection. Plus much more in the future .....

The proposed covered area, will open up a whole new way to use Zwick's Park!  The possibilities are
almost endless, such as:

Award Presentations Group Gatherings All-Year Festivals
Art Shows Bingo Dances
Reunions Trade Shows Weddings
Plays Concerts  .. and so much more
