Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday, Period of Employment May to September (approximately)
Salary: $16.18 to $17.24 per hour
Primary Duties:
Assist to develop, coordinate and implement the daily activities in conjunction with the Summer Day Camp program. Duties include scheduling and supervising day camp staff and assisting the Recreation Program Supervisor with special summer events. May be required to accept responsibilities of a Camp Leader in programs requiring additional staff.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years/seasons of experience as a Senior Program Leader or similar experience with programming for children between the ages of 3 and 16, together with supervisory experience of at least 1 year/season. Must hold a valid Standard First Aid and C.P.R. certification. Preferred candidate should have an interest in recreation or child related studies in post secondary education.
