The Taxation Section is responsible for processing the City's revenue. As the first point of contact at City Hall, this section also provides information services to the general public. Among the duties of this Section are:

• maintaining the City's Tax rolls
• providing all tax billing and collection services
• providing information about assessment and property taxation, yard sales, parking infractions, and many other services that involve a fee for service (i.e. garbage bag tags, bus passes/tickets, souvenirs, dog tags, fire permits)
• providing recreation program information and registration.
