The Emergency Services (Fire) Department is responsible for:
- Providing fire suppression and other emergency response and rescue services, including
first response and medical assist;
- Delivering fire prevention services including enforcement;
- Providing public education services relating to fire and similar hazards;
- Developing emergency response plans and procedures including emergency preparedness
for the Corporation.
