Our city parks & recreational facilities offer places to picnic, swim, excercise, skate, bike and more for full family enjoyment.  The Recreation Culture & Comminity Services Department also provides outstanding recreational programs for children of all ages to participate in, throughout the year.

Function:

The Recreation Culture and Community Services Department is responsible for providing and maintaining leisure and fitness activities that are important to the well being of the citizens of Belleville through the operation of facilities such as arenas, parks, harbours and recreational programming. The Recreation and Community Services Department operates under three sections:

• Programming
• Parks
• Facilities

The Recreation Culture and Community Services Department is also responsible for the School Crossing Guard Program.
