Belleville Multiplex Recreation Community Centre Project Quinte Sport Centre

On behalf of the Recreation, Culture   and Community Services Department, we thank you for your continued enthusiasm and your patience as we complete the final stages of the expansion at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre. Our two NHL sized arenas are already open (they opened in the Fall) and the team is working hard with the Contractor to get the doors open on the remainder of the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre. We expect to have the rest of the facility fully operational and open for the public’s enjoyment when all extra features and last minute issues are fully addressed. We know you will not be disappointed!

We invite you to stay connected through the regular updates on the City of Belleville’s website and welcome your questions on the project.

Council for the City of Belleville identified the importance of Culture, Recreation and Leisure Services to the future success of our community.  In May 2009 the City of Belleville received approval for two thirds funding for the $35 million community project.  One third of the funding to be provided by the Government of Canada, one third from the Government of Ontario and the final third to be provided by the taxpayers of the City of Belleville.
