Pets in Parks
We appreciate clean parks and open spaces. For the safety of everyone, especially our children, please be a responsible pet owner and clean-up after your pet. Failure to pick-up after your pet can result in a fine of $80.00 plus court and administrative costs.
Stoop and Scoop (By-Law #13936)
Dogs must be on a leash at all times anytime they are not on the owners property. This includes all public spaces such as City Parks. The only exception to the leashing requirement is when your dog is within the confines of the Off Leash Dog Park.
Emergencies can strike anywhere, at any time - be prepared—by having a plan, assembling a survival kit, and by staying informed.More Information
